Dr. Gamble-George will be the keynote speaker at the Wallops Flight Facility Women’s Equality Day event. She will talk about strategies to stay mentally healthy during COVID. The event is hosted by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center Women’s Employee Resource Group and Network (WEN) and celebrated each year since 1920, commemorating women’s right to vote in the United States. This event is not opened to the public and will be held on September 14, 2022 from 9 AM-3 PM EST.
I love to empower people to become thought leaders and STEAM/STEMM innovators. I served as an expert science advisor for scientists that study chronic heart and lung diseases, HIV, and mental health. I also co-founded a biotech IoT application and device development company. As a scientist, I conduct research related to brain diseases and disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease, anxiety and stress-related disorders, and substance use disorders.
