Simply Neurocon 2021

Dr. Gamble-George has been invited to speak at a virtual Simply Neuroscience event, Simply Neurocon 2021, that will be held on June 27, 2021, from 10 AM to 9 PM ET. Her talk is entitled, “Understanding the Brain from Cells to Behavior in Neurodegenerative Diseases and Anxiety Disorders.” She will provide a general overview of her research on Alzheimer’s disease pathology, substance abuse, anxiety and stress-related disorders, neurotoxicity, HIV, and therapeutics. The event is sponsored and hosted by Simply Neuroscience, an international, student-led nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering students’ interdisciplinary interests in the brain, specifically through neuroscience and psychology education, outreach, and awareness. Simply Neuroscience aims to empower youth to engage in brain-related fields through projects and initiatives on local through global scales.
